First of all, it is important to specify that the all-inclusive market has unquestionably become more refined in the last ten years, as hoteliers have understood that customers visiting the Caribbean like the idea of not having to take out their wallet once at their destination, let alone during a stay in a luxury hotel. In another era, higher category hotels did not offer the all-inclusive formula to create a separation between the two segments, "luxury" and "all-inclusive". Upon arrival, each villa is assigned a private butler who will also be given a telephone, which is effectively a direct line to reach "their butler". At any time, for any request, all you have to do is use the phone and it's settled. What also sets Hammock Cove apart are of course its rooms, which are actually private villas that all offer an expansive outdoor deck with hanging chair, lounge chairs, full kitchen, and dining table. It is pleasant to have breakfast there in the morning with a view of the ocean, with its open space you really feel like you are floating above the water. Also, at the end of the day, taking advantage of your private infinity pool in your city is a habit that is acquired quickly. The height of luxury!
The hotel is very intimate and adults only so even if it is full (which it was during our visit) it is impossible to feel it. Whether you take breakfast on your private terrace or in the restaurant, the experience is flawless. We always order from the à la carte menu - which changes regularly, by the way - and the service at the tables or in the room is impeccable. On the beach, we can enjoy lounge chairs and white, immaculate umbrellas, and paddleboards, kayaks and other non-motorized watercraft are at our disposal. A second restaurant, the Lighthouse, open in the evening only, changes its menu regularly to offer an interesting variety to customers staying several nights, and a sommelier advises customers on the food and wine pairing. A second bar opens in the afternoon to enjoy an aperitif and the sunset.
Finally, the place offers a magnificent spa that offers high quality services provided by certified professionals. Facials, massages, aesthetics, and relaxation area, it's all there. A state-of-the-art fitness center and a convenience store complete the offer of this more than perfect hotel on an island that is just as perfect.
