As it marks its 65th anniversary, Four Seasons says it is entering 2026 from a position of stability, with a focus on global growth and the launch of new travel experiences, including its first yacht.
Founded in Toronto in 1961 by Isadore Sharp, the privately held hospitality company now operates 135 hotels and resorts and 61 residential properties in 47 countries. Its leadership says the next phase of growth will centre on global markets where the brand believes it can contribute to long-term destination development.

“This milestone year marks both a proud legacy and a clear path forward,” said Alejandro Reynal, President and Chief Executive Officer, Four Seasons.
“Our strength comes from staying true to our values – service excellence and genuine care – while growing intentionally and innovating with purpose. That balance is what will continue to guide Four Seasons for decades to come.”
Europe, the Middle East and Asia Drive 2026 Openings
In 2026, Four Seasons plans a series of hotel and resort openings across Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and the Americas.
In Italy, the company will unveil Danieli, A Four Seasons Hotel, Venice, restoring a historic Venetian landmark overlooking the lagoon.
Greece will see the opening of Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos, the brand’s second property in the country, while Switzerland will welcome The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel, expanding the company’s European footprint into the Alps.
Saudi Arabia remains a focus, with multiple projects along the Red Sea.

These include Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea at Shura Island and Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay, as well as Four Seasons Hotel Madinah, located near the Prophet’s Mosque.
In Asia Pacific, Four Seasons will debut in Vietnam’s capital with Four Seasons Hotel Hanoi at Hoan Kiem Lake, positioned beside one of the city’s most significant cultural landmarks.
The Americas will also see continued growth.
Four Seasons plans to open Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Cartagena in Colombia, transforming colonial and Beaux-Arts buildings near the city’s historic walled centre.
The company will also reopen Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara following a redesign.
Looking further ahead, the brand has confirmed plans to return to Berlin after a 20-year absence, to open a new hotel in Rio de Janeiro, and to expand into new U.S. destinations, including Charleston, Telluride, and Deer Valley.
First Yacht to Launch in 2026
One of the company’s biggest moves in 2026 will be the launch of Four Seasons I, the brand’s first luxury yacht.

The vessel is scheduled to begin sailing in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Adriatic, marking Four Seasons’ entry into the yachting sector.
The company will also continue to expand its Private Jet Experience, which has operated for more than a decade, as well as new multi-property itineraries in destinations such as Bali, Spain, and Mexico.
