Orlando offers many, many attractions to its visitors, but beaches aren’t among them. Cocoa Beach and Daytona are about an hour’s drive away. But a new destination resort in the theme park capital of the world offers a white sand beach experience on a massive, crystal blue, manmade lagoon.
TravelPulse Canada took the opportunity of a long layover in Orlando to tour the Evermore Orlando resort and the associated, upscale Conrad Orlando by Hilton, located just five kilometres away from Walt Disney World Resort in the heart of the Buena Vista area.

Evermore describes itself as a “first-of-its-kind” vacation destination uniquely designed for big families and gatherings. It offers luxury-outfitted four-bedroom ‘flats,’ along with two- and four-bedroom villas and vacation houses offering up to 11 bedrooms. Each vacation house features a gourmet kitchen, private heated pool, full-size washer & dryer, ample parking, and 24hr onsite security.
“At Evermore we are marrying the vacation rental with a high-end beach resort,” said Marketing Manager Eric Astacio. “We offer the conveniences of a rental along with the perks of a hotel. Guests can have the most unique and enjoyable resort day here.”

The accommodations are beautifully appointed, and the multi-level houses come complete with play areas, including ping pong tables, air hockey and arcade games.

The sprawling property features two golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, which is impressive in itself, but the real star of the Evermore and Conrad show is Evermore Bay, a 20-acre, incredibly accurate simulation of a tropical beach paradise.
Evermore Bay itself is eight acres of crystal clear waters outlined with white sand beaches and palm trees. There are dedicated swim areas, private cabanas, and family-friendly activities like a 4-person water slide, rope swing, high jumps, stand-up paddle-boarding, kayaking, and beachside dining. Under the hot Florida sun, if you squint just a little, you can believe you are on an island somewhere.

There are 12 different dining and drinking venues at Evermore, from a family-friendly Food Hall to a romantic rooftop restaurant. Food delivery is also available, as are cleaning services and a resort shuttle.

Perfect for smaller families and couples, the 433 rooms and suites of the Conrad Orlando are spacious and bright, with many featuring lagoon views. The public and pool areas of this Hilton luxury brand hotel are beautiful too, with décor inspired by Florida’s flora, fauna and aquatic life.
The Conrad offers five distinct restaurants and lounges, offering tastes including coastal Southern Italian and contemporary Mexican. Ceiba is the Mexican rooftop option, with indoor and outdoor dining, including a retractable roof. It’s already become a favourite spot from which to watch the nightly fireworks at Disney’s Magic Kingdom and Epcot.
As a Disney “Good Neighbour” hotel, the Conrad offers complimentary luxury motor coach transportation to all Disney Theme Parks.
