Club Med Punta Cana is undergoing a major refresh, with renovations set to wrap up and debut in September 2025.
The resort is revamping its communal areas, restaurants, and rooms.
Upgrades to the rooms include the launch of the Deluxe Costa del Coco Rooms, with a modern design, private balconies, and spa-style bathrooms.
One of the main additions will be the new Buena Vista Lounge, a circular, open-air space designed as a central hangout spot with views of the ocean. The lounge will include a boutique, a photo booth, and a local discovery area.
The resort’s Samana Restaurant is also getting a redesign, taking cues from the Dominican jungle. Once completed, it will offer more than 10 international cuisine stations and two large terraces for outdoor dining. The main bar and a new coffee shop are also being renovated.
During the renovations—which began in February and will continue through mid-September—the resort will remain open. Club Med has stated that pools, sports facilities, and beach access will not be affected, though some areas may see moderate disruption from June to September.
The full renovations will be unveiled on September 15, 2025.
