Universal Orlando’s tropical-themed water park, Volcano
Bay is prepping for some updates, and as a result, will see a five-month
extended closure.
Beginning on October 26, 2026, the water park will begin a
seasonal closure with a current planned reopening on or before March 24, 2027.
The
closure time will be used to conduct annual maintenance on several attractions
and areas of the water park.
Universal
Orlando Resort says that they are currently working with guests who have
purchased tickets to visit Volcano Bay during this timeframe. Guests may also
visit Guest Services at Universal Volcano Bay, Universal Studios Florida or
Universal Islands of Adventure or call (407) 224-4233 for more assistance with
their ticket purchases.
Additionally, as the entertainment resort continues to
evaluate its guest experiences, beginning October 1, 2025, the TapuTapu
wearable device and virtual line at Volcano Bay will no longer be available.
This will allow guests to now access attraction queues at their leisure.
Guests can also check the Universal Orlando Resort
website for latest resort updates that includes information about its other adventure-themed parks.
