VISIT DENVER has once again selected Pulse Travel Marketing for its Canadian in-market representation.
The agency, managed by Sana Keller and Annika Klint, will work with the VISIT DENVER staff and in state partners to ensure that the Mile High City is prominently positioned with the travel trade, consumer and key distribution media channels in Canada.
The team will be responsible for promoting tourism from Canada to Denver and for working hand-in-hand with key media, and in-state partners in the Mile High City to drive demand and keep the city top of mind
Named 2020's #1 city to visit in the world by Rough Guides and among the top 10 places in the world to visit in 2020 by Lonely Planet, The Mile High City is known for its distinctive neighbourhoods, world class museums, sporting events, and outstanding culture, in addition to its proximity to Colorado’s world-famous Rocky Mountain National Park and much more beyond.

Denver boasts museums with renowned permanent and temporary exhibitions, alongside art-centric neighbourhoods, boutique hotels and more, which further cement its reputation as an international cultural destination.
Additionally, Denver continues to earn critical acclaim for its culinary and beer scenes. Top visitor attractions include Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, Denver Zoo, Downtown Aquarium, Denver Botanic Gardens and Meow Wolf.
Canada is Colorado’s number one source of international visitors and is linked by nonstop international flights on several carriers including WestJet and Air Canada.
In 2022, Denver welcomed a record 36.3 million visitors, marking a 15% increase over 2021 and surpassing all historic tourism totals by a large margin. A record number of visitors also spent more money in Denver than ever before, generating $9.4 billion USD in tourism revenue, far beyond the previous record of $7 billion spent in 2019.
“As Denver continues its ascension among the top visitor destinations in the world, and tourism continues to be a key economic driver, we have enlisted Pulse Travel Marketing to help us develop a public relations strategy designed to grow our presence in Canada,” said Jesse Davis, director of public relations and communications for VISIT DENVER.
