MSC Cruises’ newest flagship, MSC World Asia, will feature an Eataly restaurant when the ship begins sailing Mediterranean itineraries on December 4, 2026.
The restaurant will be the second Eataly location at sea, following the concept’s debut aboard MSC World America. MSC Cruises is the only cruise line to feature the Italian culinary brand onboard its ships.
The restaurant will serve regional specialties and classic Italian dishes made with high-quality ingredients in a contemporary setting inspired by Italian culinary traditions. Guests will also be able to watch chefs prepare dishes at a dedicated show-cooking table, dine on an outdoor terrace with ocean views and select wine from a cellar at The Terrace Bar.

“Exceptional food and hospitality are at the heart of the experience we create for our guests,” says Gianni Onorato, chief executive officer of MSC Cruises.
He adds that the partnership will bring Mediterranean-bound guests an authentic Italian dining experience with a menu reflecting the cruise line’s international reach.
MSC World Asia will feature more than 40 bars, lounges, cafés and restaurants, including concepts developed with culinary partners.
The ship will sail seven-night Mediterranean itineraries calling at Barcelona, Spain; Marseille, France; Messina, Civitavecchia (for Rome) and Naples, Italy; and Valletta, Malta. Multiple ports will offer embarkation options.
