MSC Cruises has opened bookings for its 2029 World Cruise, a 119-night voyage aboard MSC Magnifica that will visit 45 destinations across 21 countries, including new ports of call in Fiji, New Zealand, Australia and Indonesia.
Departing in January 2029, the round-trip itinerary will span the Mediterranean, South America, the South Pacific, Australia and Asia. Guests can choose to embark in Civitavecchia, Italy, for Rome on January 4, followed by additional departure options in Genoa, Italy; Marseille, France; and Barcelona, Spain.
The voyage includes nine overnight port calls and 15 shore excursions in the booking price, giving passengers additional time to explore destinations along the way.
One of the itinerary's highlights is an extended exploration of Australia, including a circumnavigation of the country. Stops include Sydney and Melbourne, as well as Kangaroo Island, Adelaide, Perth, Broome and Darwin. The itinerary also features an overnight call in Fremantle, a gateway to Perth and Western Australia's wine regions.
In Indonesia, the ship will visit Bali, Lombok and Java, with a new call in Celukan Bawang on the northern coast of Bali. The extended stays are designed to give guests more opportunities to experience the region's cultural heritage, traditional villages, temples and landscapes.
Other highlights include overnight stays in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Ushuaia, Argentina; Sydney; and Singapore. The itinerary also adds Lautoka, Fiji, and Timaru, New Zealand, while returning to Milford Sound, the scenic fjord known for its towering cliffs, waterfalls and rainforest.
On board, guests can enjoy destination-inspired activities, themed dining nights, regional food pairings and port-inspired cocktails, alongside live music, theatrical productions, language classes and dance lessons.

The recently refurbished MSC Magnifica also features the MSC Yacht Club, the cruise line's ship-within-a-ship concept. The exclusive area offers private facilities, 24-hour butler and concierge services, suites, a dedicated restaurant and lounge, and a private sundeck with hot tubs, a grill restaurant and a bar.
The ship also features five restaurants, 12 bars, a theater, a casino, panoramic lounges, the MSC Aurea Spa and fitness and sports facilities.
The 2029 World Cruise fare includes 15 shore excursions, a Dine & Drink beverage package covering house wines, draft beer and select other beverages served during lunch and dinner, and a 30% discount on laundry services.
Members of the MSC Voyagers Club at Classic level and above will receive a 5% discount on their booking price. As part of a limited-time sales promotion, members who book by November 19 will also earn triple loyalty points, credited before departure.
The 2029 sailing offers travelers nearly four months at sea, with opportunities to explore destinations across multiple continents without repeatedly packing and unpacking between hotels.
