Formerly Hurtigruten Expeditions, the brand now known as HX is making a major effort to expand Canadian sales, with the appointment of Carla Brake as Senior Sales Director, Kent Phillips as BDM for Western Canada and Ian Kivel in the same role for Eastern Canada.

Phillips, the new HX Business Development Manager, Western Canada, brings over seven years of experience as a Senior BDM at Exodus Adventure Travels, specializing in active adventure travel and polar expeditions. He can be reached at [email protected].
Kivell, the new Eastern Canada BDM, previously served as a travel manager at Flight Centre and a Sales & Business Development Manager at Contiki Holidays. Based in Hamilton, he is also a Professor of Tourism at Mohawk College. Kivell can be reached at [email protected].
In another appointment, HX has named Jennifer Kennedy as business development manager for the Southeast U.S.
