Following 140 nights of Crystal’s epic 2027 “Stories of the South Seas” world cruise, passengers will disembark in Vancouver, no doubt with a lifetime’s worth of stories to tell. Details of the cruise, which will leave San Diego on Jan.8, 2027 before visiting 29 countries on four continents, were released today.
Sailing aboard the Crystal Serenity, guests will visit 83 destinations in South and Central America, French Polynesia, New Zealand and Australia, across Asia, and Alaska, with excursions curated by Abercrombie & Kent.

In the announcement, Crystal highlighted some of the most anticipated aspects of the itinerary during each month of the cruise, including:
- January: Depart from San Diego, sailing down Mexico’s vibrant coasts before exploring Central America’s cultural gems, such as El Salvador’s Acajutla and Costa Rica’s natural beauty. Visit South America with stops in Manta and Guayaquil, Ecuador.
- February: Cross the South Pacific to French Polynesia’s Bora Bora, Tahiti and Moorea, famed for their lagoons and volcanic landscapes. Continue to Samoa and Fiji for cultural ceremonies, tropical beaches and lush rainforests.
- March: Explore New Zealand’s fjords, Maori heritage, and cities including Auckland and Christchurch. Sail on to Australia, visiting Tasmania, Sydney’s harbor and the Great Barrier Reef.
- April: Discover Southeast Asia’s treasures, from Indonesia’s ancient temples to the vibrant streets of Singapore and Bangkok. Experience Thailand’s cuisine’s, Vietnam’s history in Ho Chi Minh City, and China’s landmarks in Shanghai and Xiamen.
- May: Visit Busan, South Korea, then explore Japan’s Hiroshima, Kobe and Tokyo. End in Alaska and visit glaciers, forests and ports such as Sitka before arriving in Vancouver, BC.
Those travelling on the full world cruise receive included business class air or air credit, $1,500 ‘As You Wish’ shipboard credit, unlimited dining at Osteria d’Ovidio, Beefbar and Umi Uma (reservations required), invitations to themed onboard events, private transfers and luggage valet service, complimentary laundry and pressing (second-day service), exclusive shoreside events for full World Cruise guests and a complimentary initial onboard medical visit.
