Royal Air Maroc is launching a direct air route linking Toronto with the storied city of Casablanca, Morocco.
Starting December 8, Royal Air Maroc will operate three times a week (Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday) between the two cities. Flights will depart Toronto at 9:30 pm (local time), landing in Casablanca at 10:50 am the next day. Casablanca-Toronto flights will depart at 4:45pm (local time) and arrive in Toronto at 7:25 pm.
The airline will use its fuel-efficient Boeing 787 Dreamliners on the route.
"The upcoming launch of the Casablanca-Toronto route primarily addresses the strong demand from Moroccans living in Canada, particularly in Ontario,” said Hamid Addou, President and CEO of Royal Air Maroc.
“It will also enhance the significant existing offer of the company, which has had the historic Casablanca-Montreal route since 1975 and currently operates two daily flights. Thus, flights to Toronto and Montreal will offer even more convenience and comfort to our compatriots living in Canada."
Royal Air Maroc's extensive Americas network includes direct flights from its Casablanca hub to Montreal, New York, Washington, Miami, and São Paulo.
