Porter Launches Exclusive New Ontario Route

Porter Airlines has launched a new route between Ottawa (YOW) and Hamilton (YHM), the only carrier to operate a direct flight between the two cities. There will be two flights operating daily aboard Porter’s 78-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft. As with all Porter’s craft, the Dash 8 uses a 2x2 configuration, with no middle seat. Porter also features free beer and wine served in stemware and premium snacks.

Execs at John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport are excited to offer expanded services from their airport. “As Porter continues to grow its network at YHM – now serving 14 nonstop destinations – passengers benefit from more choice, greater convenience and an easy airport experience that enhances every journey,” says Peter Tong, YHM Chief Executive Officer.

Passengers flying into Ottawa will be able to take advantage of convenient connections for Atlantic Canada, with onward service to Charlottetown, Fredericton and Moncton.
