Blue Rewards and Porter Airlines have announced a new partnership that will allow members of both loyalty programs to earn additional points on Porter flights and, in the coming months, transfer Blue Points into VIPorter points.
Effective immediately, members who link their Blue Rewards and VIPorter accounts can earn VIPorter points up to 20% faster, while also receiving bonus Blue Points when redeeming for eligible Porter flights through Blue Rewards Travel.
Members who link their accounts will receive a welcome offer of 500 Blue Points and 500 VIPorter points.
Linked members will also earn additional VIPorter points when purchasing Porter flights, on top of the program's base earn of five to seven VIPorter points per dollar spent, excluding taxes and fees.

Those with an eligible linked BMO payment card will earn one additional VIPorter point for every $1 spent on Porter flights, excluding taxes and fees. Other linked Blue Rewards members will earn one additional VIPorter point for every $2 spent.
“VIPorter is a distinct and value-focused program,” said Edmond Eldebs, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Porter Airlines.
“As the preferred airline partner of Blue Rewards, we are giving members more reasons to choose Porter and to enjoy our elevated economy experience more often.”
Bonus Points on Porter Redemptions
Members who redeem Blue Points for eligible Porter flights through Blue Rewards Travel, powered by Expedia, will also receive bonus Blue Points based on the value of their booking.
Bookings valued at up to $350 will earn 1,000 bonus Blue Points, while flights valued between $351 and $450 will earn 3,750 bonus points. Eligible bookings valued above $451 will receive 7,500 bonus Blue Points.
Through November 30, 2026, Blue Rewards members with an eligible BMO payment card can also earn up to 1,500 additional bonus Blue Points when redeeming points for an eligible Porter flight through Blue Rewards Travel.
The companies say another feature is expected in the coming months: linked members will be able to convert Blue Points into VIPorter points at a 2:1 ratio.
The agreement builds on BMO and Porter's existing relationship, which began with the launch of the BMO VIPorter Mastercard in 2025.
