Porter Airlines is adding two airports and three routes.
Year-round flights between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and Toronto Pearson International Airport begin May 21, 2026, operating five times weekly on the Embraer E195-E2.
In Canada, seasonal service between Ottawa and Deer Lake, N.L., (YDF) launches June 10, 2026, also operating five times weekly on the E195-E2. The flights complement Porter’s existing Deer Lake service from Toronto Pearson and Halifax.
On Sept. 1, 2026, Porter will move its Chicago service from Midway (MDW) to O'Hare International Airport (ORD) for flights operating from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ). The updated route will run three times daily on the Dash 8-400.

Porter has served Chicago from Billy Bishop since 2008. The move to O’Hare provides access to the city’s primary airport and increased frequency. The airline says travellers will also benefit from a new U.S. Customs and Border Protection preclearance facility scheduled to open at Billy Bishop in the coming weeks. The shift to O’Hare is expected to enable future connecting itineraries through partner airlines.
A summary of the new routes includes:
- Toronto Pearson – Austin (E195-E2): Begins May 21, 2026; five times weekly (year-round)
- Ottawa – Deer Lake (E195-E2): Begins June 10, 2026; five times weekly (seasonal)
- Toronto City – Chicago O’Hare (Dash 8-400): Begins Sept. 1, 2026; three times daily
