With a second A320 arriving by November 30, Canada Jetlines has confirmed that the next route from its travel hub at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) will be direct service to Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
Starting in December, the new twice-weekly route will link the country's two busiest airports.
"Following the launch of a successful first route out of Toronto, we look forward to expanding our services into Vancouver ahead of the upcoming holiday travel season," said Duncan Bureau, Chief Commercial Officer.
"We seek to provide Canadian travellers with more convenient travel options and look forward to bringing the country's newest leisure airline to YVR."
The new route will give Canadians another leisure travel option.
"We look forward to welcoming Canada Jetlines to YVR, providing more connections to Toronto and southern Ontario for travellers to visit family and friends," said Mike McNaney, VP & Chief External Affairs Office at Vancouver Airport Authority. "
We are excited about the options this new airline is offering from YVR, just in time for the holiday season and throughout the year."
Canada Jetlines currently flies Thursdays and Sundays out of Toronto (YYZ) to Calgary (YYC) from 07:55am -- EST 10:10am MST and returns from Calgary (YYC) to Toronto (YYZ) 11:40am MST - 17:20 EST.
Travellers can reserve vacation packages with preferred travel agents, who can earn up to 10% commission on all base fares, when contracted directly with Canada Jetlines.
