Air Canada is extending its partnership with The Landline Company, continuing to offer motorcoach service connecting Toronto Pearson (YYZ) with John C. Munro Hamilton International (YHM) Airport and Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF).The service, launched as a pilot program in 2023, has been well-received, according to the airline.“Air Canada has been very pleased with the response to this innovative initiative... The results show our multimodal strategy is a popular and effective means to increase connectivity within our network,” said Ranbir Singh, Director, Regional Airlines and Markets at Air Canada. The motorcoach service allows passengers to check in and drop bags at their regional airport before taking a direct coach to Pearson. Air Canada says the benefits match those of a standard flight itinerary, including Aeroplan points and disruption protection. The motorcoaches, built by Quebec-based Prevost, include power outlets, free Wi-Fi, and are fully accessible.
Multiple daily round trips operate from both Hamilton and Waterloo to Pearson.
