TL Network Canada added 47 new Canadian member agencies to its network in 2021, a positive sign in a disrupted travel environment.
Christine James, TL Network's Vice President in Canada, attributes the continued increase to innovative training opportunities and enhancements to award-winning tools, which she says are important for attracting new members and driving high quality leads.
"Even as the pandemic persists, we continue to provide our member agencies with industry-leading technology offerings, booking tools and training available to help them grow their bottom line and stand out from the competition," said James.
"On the education front, we've raised the bar by offering more on-demand lessons and webinars. And at our annual events, the 'EDGE' conference and our Canadian Fall Regionals, members can continue to develop and advance with a variety of learning options and see each other in person to renew and build connections."
In terms of how TL Network keeps new members engaged, James said, "Celebrating the resilience of the travel advisor, and the way they have fought through the incredible challenges our industry has faced over the past two years, is so important to us and was embraced by all of our members during the past year."

Paulo Branco, General Manager of Ellison Travel & Tours Ltd. in Exeter, ON, says his agency wanted to align itself with a consortium able to address the needs of a complex operation handling vacation, customized groups and corporate clients as well as offer constant training while keeping their staff motivated and always engaged.
"We switched from another large high-end host agency, and this is the best decision we could have made," said Branco.
