Air Canada Vacations has announced the appointment of Marco Gagnon to the role of General Manager, Sales - Eastern Canada. The news comes as Guy Marchand has elected to retire at the end of June.
"Throughout Marco's time as an Area Sales Manager and Groups Supervisor at Air Canada Vacations, he has been integral at forging relationships with key players in our industry and supporting suppliers and trade partners," said ACV Vice President Nino Montagnese.
"We'd like to congratulate Marco on his new role and wish Guy all the best in his retirement."
In his new role, effective since May 23, Gagnon is responsible for the implementation of the sales strategy in the Quebec and Atlantic markets. As well, he will oversee the Area Sales Managers and engage travel agent partners on ACV products.
Led by Gagnon, Air Canada Vacations' Eastern Canada Sales team consists of Jean-Luc Tremblay, Judy Munden and Helena Silva.
