The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors (ACTA) is encouraging travel professionals across the country to pursue its nationally recognized designations — Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC) and Certified Travel Manager (CTM) — with a limited-time enrolment discount.
Until December 5, 2025, new applicants can receive 30% off their enrolment fees using code 2025ACTA30.

ACTA is also hosting two free information sessions on November 20, 2025, designed to help advisors understand the certification pathway and what the CTC designation represents.
12:00 p.m. ET (English): Presented by Monica Leduc, Manager, Education & Certification
1:30 p.m. ET (French): Presented by Yacine Bimich, Bilingual Membership Manager, Quebec
According to ACTA, earning the CTC or CTM designation provides “trusted credibility with clients and industry partners,” as well as access to professional development opportunities, destination experiences, and ACTA’s travel industry roundtables in select provinces. Certified advisors also receive priority invitations to international conferences and are featured in ACTA’s Find a Travel Advisor directory.
