Travel technology company SoftVoyage celebrated the company's 20th anniversary last night at a party held at the CN Tower Thursday night.
Co-founder Moise Levy who was among
the first inductees into the Canadian Travel Hall of Fame in 2018, spoke to the crowd, explaining the history of the company and the importance of having a great team.
"We had a vision of providing the Canadian travel industry a great management system for tour operators, with a superpower capability of distribution, before the web. The rest is history, that was 10 years ago, in the spring of 1999 and since then we have built a great company that we always say, the best part is our people."
"I consider the people I work with my friends. I say that very sincerely. The tech business is like any other; it's about the quality of the people, the quality of the relationships that inspires us to build and develop technology and give service to our clients."
VP, Sales and Marketing Dan Langevin echoed that statement in an
earlier interview with TravelPulse Canada. "People don't leave Softvoyage, People stay there forever. It's very rare that they lose an employee and I think that's because of the working environment; the culture. They're very fair, and people are encouraged to be creative."
