The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors (ACTA) announced the opening of its 2027 membership season.
From Sept. 1 through Sept. 30, 2026, independent advisors can join ACTA or renew their 2027 membership for CAD$79, plus applicable taxes. Memberships can be purchased online or in person at upcoming ACTA Summits.
Beginning Oct. 1, the 2027 membership fee increases to CAD$99, plus applicable taxes, for independent advisors affiliated with an ACTA member host agency.
Advisors who are not affiliated with an ACTA member host agency will pay CAD$135, plus applicable taxes.
ACTA Marks 50 Years in 2027
The 2027 membership year will coincide with ACTA's 50th anniversary.
The association says it plans to mark the milestone throughout the year with special events, member recognition initiatives and additional programming tied to its five decades representing Canadian travel agencies and travel advisors.
Membership Comes With Prize Draws
Travel agencies and independent travel advisors who join or renew beginning Sept. 1 will also automatically be entered into a series of member prize draws.
The first draw, scheduled for Oct. 31, 2026, includes two Porter Airlines round-trip vouchers valid for travel to any Porter destination, along with a three-night stay for two at Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya in Mexico.
A second draw will take place Dec. 4, 2026, for two Air Canada round-trip Economy Class tickets valid for system-wide travel.
Current ACTA members can renew through their Glue Up member profile, while new members can join through ACTA. Advisors requiring assistance can also contact the association directly at [email protected].
