Azouz said some of the proceeds from the day's event would go to the Daily Bread Toronto Food Bank.

A long putt (almost made it) on the tenth green at Lionhead Golf Course in Brampton, home of the Skal Toronto annual golf tournament on Wednesday, Aug. 22. The tournament was played on the beautiful but difficult Legends' course on a mostly sunny, pleasant day.

The tenth hole at Lionhead Golf Course is one of the prettiest around, with dramatic viiews and plenty of danger all around. It's a tough par four that challenged more than a few golfers at the Skal Toronto tournament.

Skal Toronto has nearly 80 members, all of them prominent figures in the travel and tourism business. There are three more meetings coming up this year, including one in October that focusses on new members. Chapter president Fred Azouz said membership rates are reasonable, and that meetings are a great way to network and drum up new business.

Golfers at the Skal Toronto tournament at Lionhead Golf Course in Brampton were treated to a fine dinner with drinks and a barbeque lunch. It was a perfect day for golf, with comfortable temperatures and a nice breeze.

Lionhead is a stunning golf facility in Brampton, with both the Legends course and Masters course offering plenty of beautiful, challenging holes. The tenth hole on the Legends' course was where TravelPulse Canada set up shop for the day, handing out driinks and snacks and snapping a few photos.
