RateHawk reported a 78% year-over-year increase in API bookings by the end of the first half of 2026, alongside a 28% increase in its API partnership network.
The B2B travel technology platform, part of Emerging Travel Group, now has 1,800 API partners globally, spanning online travel agencies, tour operators, travel management companies, startups and other businesses incorporating accommodation inventory into their own platforms.
RateHawk said its API provides partners with access to accommodation inventory across more than 190 countries, combining supply from global providers with directly contracted properties. One of its latest API partners in the UK is Bedfares.
“The growth of API bookings reflects a broader shift in the travel industry: as travelers become more price-sensitive and their expectations more diverse, businesses need to expand supply options and respond faster to market changes. Technology partners can help them with that. Building a broad and competitive accommodation portfolio independently can take years and requires significant investment, which is why more travel companies are turning to API integrations. We believe the next phase of industry growth will be increasingly powered by connected ecosystems, and developing our API infrastructure remains one of our strategic priorities,” said Christopher Jallah, Head of API Distribution at RateHawk.
RateHawk Expands API Capabilities
The company has also expanded its API infrastructure with the launch of a Content API available in 32 languages.
The system provides real-time hotel information and uses AI-based tools for functions including property mapping, content management and rate matching. It also incorporates anomaly detection designed to identify potential data-quality issues.
RateHawk's API supports package rates and allows multiple rooms to be booked within a single order.
Companies can connect directly to RateHawk or integrate through more than 100 travel technology partners.
RateHawk has also introduced an API Optimization Manager role in most of its markets, with local teams providing support during integrations. A self-service sandbox environment has been added to allow companies to test integrations before going live.
“Partners can integrate directly with our platform or through one of more than 100 travel technology partners, helping them accelerate time to market. To build long-term partnerships, we provide dedicated support throughout the integration journey. As part of our strategy, we’ve allocated dedicated resources within local teams, introducing a new API Optimization Manager role in most of the markets. We also launched a self-service sandbox environment that enables businesses to test solutions faster and onboard with greater confidence,” Jallah said.
