Naturally Pacific Resort in Campbell River, B.C. is inviting guests to spend bear season on Vancouver Island this fall. The newly introduced “Grizzly Getaway” is presented in partnership with Indigenous-owned wildlife tour operator, Campbell River Whale Watching and Adventure Tours.
Guests will visit dense rainforest and coastal waters with experienced Indigenous guides sharing insights into their culture, history and enduring connection to these ancient lands and waters. Each two- or three-night package includes a one- or two-day tour in the guest’s choice of Bute Inlet, home to the Homalco First Nation, or Toba Inlet, within Klahoose First Nation territory.
In addition to the day of spotting bears along the shore, travellers will have time at Naturally Pacific Resort to “reflect, relax and rejuvenate” after their adventures. Hotel amenities include a pool, sauna and hot tub, as well as Immersion Spa + Wellness, which offers a range of restorative treatments, a mineral pool and state-of-the-art Experience Showers.
The hotel’s restaurant, Carve Kitchen + Meatery, serves seasonally inspired dishes, with ingredients from its on-site 22,500-square-foot Pacific Patch Garden, while outdoor fire pits and luxurious guestrooms overlooking Campbell River Golf Club provide inviting spaces to unwind at the end of the day.
Grizzly Getaways at Naturally Pacific Resort can be booked for stays from October 1 to 20, 2026. The package offers a combined savings of more than $700.
