Air Transat is gradually launching its 2022-2023 winter program to the South, offering Canadian vacationers a wide selection of 26 destinations, including the Caribbean, the Pacific coast of Mexico, the Antilles, Latin America and Florida.
Highlights of the program include a total of over 300 hotels, most of them 4.5 and 5 stars. There's also a new hotel collection - the R&R 18+ Collection featuring exclusively adult-only hotels. Another notable addition is a return to Havana after a three-year hiatus, with direct flights from Montreal on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays beginning December 19.
Transat will offer direct flights to the sun from eight Canadian gateways: Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City, Halifax, Moncton, Toronto, London and Hamilton.
"We are pleased to kickstart the winter season with such a strong program. Continuously attuned to the needs of our clientele, we've noticed a significant interest in adult-only properties and in the beautiful city of Havana," says Joseph Adamo, Transat's Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.
"We are therefore quite proud to present these two additions today. Whether it's absolute relaxation, cultural discoveries, wild adventures, or even all three, I'm convinced that our program will fulfill every single one of their needs," Adamo added.
This year, Air Transat is introducing its new R&R 18+ Collection for travellers seeking a kid-free escape in Cuba, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and St. Martin. These nine hand-picked hotels, all rated 4.5 or 5 stars, exclusively cater to adult guests.
Transat says guests choosing this collection will enjoy a number of privileges, including access to a Balinese bed, an aromatherapy basket, a dinner on the beach, entry to the hydrotherapy circuit and even a tasting (wine, rum, tequila or coffee depending on the destination).

Two In One: Duo Packages To Cuba & Colombia
Air Transat offers the opportunity to experience a destination in two vastly different yet complementary ways thanks to its innovative Duo packages. Travellers can combine cultural immersion and beach relaxation in a single trip of seven days or more.
In Cuba, vacationers land directly in Havana to wander the colourful streets of the bustling Cuban capital before transferring to the white sandy beaches of Varadero for a few days prior to returning to Canada. In Colombia, travellers start their stay in the beautiful colonial city of Cartagena and end it on the heavenly island of Baru for a bit of rest and relaxation.
