Sunwing has announced the dates for when they will restart their Cayo Coco and Cayo Santa Maria programmes, both of which were shut down after the damage inflicted by Hurricane Irma.
Following a visit on October 13, 2017 by Sunwing Executives, hosted by Cuban Minister of Tourism, Manuel Marrero Cruz, Sunwing reports that the destinations are recovering well and will be ready to welcome their first guests in early November.
Based on that visit, along with recent site inspections and information received from their hotel partners, destination team and the local authorities, Sunwing anticipates the opening of resorts as follows.
