Air Canada Vacations has launched a "Book Your Own Group" promotion giving travel agents the ability to earn free seats on group bookings.
For a limited time, agents can earn one air seat for every 30 passengers booked. Plus, until March 31, the promotion offers every group passenger booked the CareFree travel protection plan at no extra charge, a saving of up to $99 per person.
"We continue to work to find ways to support our travel agent partners looking to book group packages," said ACV Vice President Nino Montagnese. "Our goal with this promotion is to create added value for agents and travellers alike while offering the ease of use of our self-serve platform."
For every 30 passengers booked via 'Book Your Own Group,' travel agents will earn one free air seat, to a maximum of four. ACV will track all qualifying files for travel between May 1 and December 18, 2023 to Mexico, the Caribbean, California, Florida, Hawaii or Las Vegas. You can find the full details here here.
The Book Your Own Group program features a bonus 2% commission applicable when combining multiple individual bookings made online or via any GDS systems to Mexico, the Caribbean, California, Florida, Hawaii or Las Vegas to make a group of 10 or more.
The promotion is valid on bookings of 10 adults or more for travel on the same departure date, and to the same hotel. All bookings for passengers travelling together as a 'Book Your Own Group' must be made within 48 hours to qualify. All bookings need to be emailed to [email protected] to qualify for the bonus commission.
When booking with ACV's 'Book Your Own Group,' clients will enjoy exclusive perks with the operator's Vacation Promise program, including value-adds such as one free checked bag per person and discounted connector fares.
