Kensington Appoints Tara Powadiuk as Senior VP of Marketing

Kensington announced the appointment of Tara Powadiuk as Senior Vice President of Marketing, adding a veteran marketing executive to its leadership team.

Powadiuk brings more than 25 years of experience in brand strategy, digital transformation and customer engagement. In her new role, she will lead Kensington's global marketing strategy.

The appointment comes during a period of expansion for Kensington, which has recently broadened its portfolio of personalized travel experiences and introduced new offerings aimed at affluent travellers.

Powadiuk's background includes senior leadership positions with Volvo Cars Canada and Microsoft, where she led digital transformation initiatives, e-commerce innovation, marketing campaigns and cross-functional teams operating in more than 30 countries.

As SVP of Marketing, Powadiuk will oversee global brand strategy, integrated and digital marketing, customer acquisition and retention, partnerships, marketing innovation and agent sales in collaboration with Kensington's outside sales team.

The appointment follows the launch of Kensington Ultra Luxe, which includes Kensington Yachts, Kensington Villas and Kensington Expeditions. The company also expanded its portfolio to include Agency, comprising Kensington Vacations, Kensington Corporate and Kensington Air, as well as TripArc, its technology and procurement division.

Kensington said it also continues to advance its responsible tourism initiatives through Kensington Cares, which incorporates its 1% Promise and One + One giving model into its travel offerings.
