Two members of Virtuoso’s senior leadership team will be taking on new and expanded roles as the luxury travel company continues to focus on continued growth and globalization.
Cheryl Cheney Bunker moves from vice president, global member relations, to senior vice president, global memberships. According to Virtuoso, Bunker’s expanded role will be “responsible for setting the strategic direction and oversight of Virtuoso’s global membership.” Bunker will look to “drive sustained growth, deepen member engagement and reinforce Virtuoso’s leading brand position across all regions by upholding and evolving Virtuoso’s rigorous membership standards.” Her position will continue to be based in Windermere, Florida.
Also on the “S-Team,” as Virtuoso’s senior vice presidents are referred to internally, is Cory Hagopian. Hagopian will evolve his role of senior vice president, global partnerships to focus on driving Virtuoso’s global partner sales strategy and “developing relationships across all product categories, including hotels and resorts, cruise lines, tourism boards, alliances, tour operators, air, car services and insurance as well as Virtuoso’s new Ultra-High-Net-Worth vertical,” according to the company. He will continue to work out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Both new senior VPs will report to Brad Bourland, Chief Operating Officer for Virtuoso.
