Wyndham Alltra Samana caters to couples, families and groups looking for an all-inclusive stay that balances relaxation with easy access to adventure. With 404 suites, an oceanfront setting, multiple dining venues and a full slate of activities and excursions, the resort is designed to let guests move at their own pace, whether that means lounging poolside or heading out to explore Samana's natural surroundings.

Guestrooms and Accommodations

Wyndham Alltra Samana's 404 suites range from 379 to 833 square feet and are spread across several categories. Standard Garden View suites come in King or Double configurations, while Premium Garden View Doubles and Premium Junior Suites add extra space and comfort for guests wanting a step up.

For travelers seeking added perks, the resort's Club-level accommodations include Club Ocean View suites in King or Double configurations, along with a range of bungalows: Club Bungalow Garden View, Club Bungalow Ocean View and a Club Two-Bedroom Bungalow suited to larger families, each featuring a living room, kitchenette and multiple sleeping areas. Rounding out the Club collection is the adults-only Club Master Suite Ocean View, complete with a hot tub and oceanview terrace.

Guests booking a Club Room gain access to the exclusive Alltra VIP Lounge with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres throughout the day, a private infinity pool with concierge service, a reserved beach section with towel service, preferential UMI restaurant reservations and discounts on romantic dinners, wine and laundry service, along with early check-in and late check-out based on availability.

Restaurants and Bars

Dining at Wyndham Alltra Samana spans nine venues, each with its own personality. Azul serves buffet-style international cuisine in a casual, elegant setting, while Cosecha offers an easy lineup of nachos, burgers, pizzas and salads for any time of day. Island Grill focuses on bold Caribbean flavors for a more special evening out, and Bella brings a taste of Southern Italy through a variety of pastas. For a more interactive meal, UMI - Teppanyaki & Sushi pairs fresh sushi with a live teppanyaki experience, and Sea Breeze Café rounds things out with lighter fare like fruit, yogurt, pastries and coffee.

The resort's bar scene is just as varied. Kaa Bar & Lounge features evening entertainment and inventive cocktails from its resident mixologists, while Las Olas Bar and Palm Bar both offer ocean views alongside classic drinks. Coco Bar provides a more relaxed, tranquil setting, and Sugarcane rounds out the offerings with a lively, tropical vibe.

Activities and Amenities

Wyndham Alltra Samana's four pools include a dedicated children's pool and an exclusive infinity pool for Club-level guests, complemented by a secluded white-sand, turquoise-water beach. Families traveling with kids can take advantage of Camp Alltra, which offers supervised activities for ages 4 to 12, while daily programming for all ages includes aerobics classes, dance lessons and land sports like archery, volleyball and badminton. Nightly live entertainment brings music, dance and themed parties to the resort, and wellness-minded guests can join yoga and aerobics sessions at the beach or pool.

Beyond the resort grounds, guests can book excursions to nearby natural preserves, waterfalls and secluded beaches, along with whale watching, ATV riding and fishing trips (some at an additional cost). For those wanting to unwind, the resort offers outdoor palapas along with individual and couples massages.

Wyndham Alltra Samana also caters to celebrations and gatherings. Couples can say "I do" against a turquoise ocean backdrop at the property's gazebo, with customizable wedding packages, honeymoon packages and a two-night wedding preview stay available for $400 USD. An expansive garden venue overlooking the beach, paired with state-of-the-art technology and helpful event coordinators, makes the resort a fit for group events and celebrations as well.
