Previously known as Amazing Agents Celebration, Confidant Connect Live, welcomes its best agents (and their guests) to celebrate the end of the year and create networking opportunities and learning. Hyatt All Inclusive Collection symposium was held this year from December 1st to 4th at Secrets St James Montego Bay and TravelPulse is there.
“Because we launched the Confidant Connect agent platform this year, we changed the name of our annual event,” said Carolina Bellina, senior sales director for Canada. "We want all agents to use the platform and become familiar with it and, above all, register their reservations there to accumulate and redeem points. We have worked very hard to relaunch Confidant Connect in 2023 and the platform provides the tools necessary for agents to become experts in the All Inclusive collection."

The objective of the event is to celebrate agents and allow them to spend quality time with the team of BDM and executives of Hyatt Inclusive Collection, which, remember, acquired Apple Leisure Group in 2021.
"Every year we invite our top 100 agents, but it's not an awards event, it's really an event to allow us to celebrate the year that is ending and spend quality time with our agents," Bellina says.
Of the 100 agents present, 25 come from Canada and 75 from the United States. On the HIC side, Carolina Bellina and her team made up of four BDMs (including two who were on site), as well as the American team of executives and even the European one “since we have just launched Confident Connect in Europe” , it's still very recent, were on hand to celebrate, exchange, and inform the agents who all seemed visibly happy to be there.
An extremely busy year 2023
Unsurprisingly, 2023 was an extremely busy year for World of Hyatt All Inclusive Collection. In addition to launching Confidant Connect, Impression, the 10th brand in the portfolio, was born. While 2024 promises to be "a little quieter" but many openings are planned for Q1 of 2024.
“2023 was a big, big year for us,” confirms Caroline Bellina, “but in 2024 there will also be some great openings including Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres which we are all looking forward to visiting! I hope to see you there. »

The Canadian market: “so important”
The Confidant Collective platform is expected to be improved and improved, but already, it is "to the taste of the HIC team" but also of the agents.
“Our primary objective is that agents have all the tools they need to know all our brands well and sell them well, because there are many of them and above all, because we have doubled the number of our hotels since the acquisition of Apple Leisure Group.
Toronto-based Carolina Bellina has been leading the Canadian market since 2019, and when asked how the Canadian market is doing, she is adamant.
“Canada is so important to us! 13,000 Canadian agents worked with our 4 BDMs which cover the entire country in 2023. We put a lot of effort and love into our Canadian agents. In 2023 we organized 140 events in the country and in destinations and 11 FAMs tours. Canada is our 2nd largest market so it is a very important market for us and now that we have more hotels in Mexico and the Dominican Republic, destinations well loved by Canadians, we want to give them love and remind them how important they are to us. This is why we include them in everything we do and why we are very grateful that the Canadian trade media came for the occasion too.”

TravelPulse Canada also participated in a panel on the tourism industry and market trends accompanied by another American media. TravelPulse Canada was the only Canadian media on this panel; three Canadian media and three American media were present at the event.
