Small Luxury Hotels of the World Unveils 2025 SLH Awards’ Winners

Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) unveiled the winners of the 2025 SLH Awards, which pay tribute to the best boutique properties within its worldwide network, during a ceremony at the Conrad Tokyo on Oct. 17.

“This year’s award winners represent the very best of our collection: standout performers who embody individuality, excellence and an unwavering commitment to unforgettable guest experiences,” said Small Luxury Hotels of the World Chief Operating Officer Richard Hyde.

“These hotels and people not only shine in their own destinations but set a benchmark for boutique luxury on the global stage,” he added.

The Breidenbacher Hof in Düsseldorf, Germany, was named Hotel of the Year “for its astute balance of rich heritage, local integration and effortless luxury,” and Dar Ahlam in Ouarzazate, Morocco, was honored as the Considerate Hotel of the Year “for its extensive and forward-thinking regenerative hospitality experiences,” SLH said.

The recipient of the Resort Hotel of the Year award went to Bali’s Desa Hay “for its refined elegance and serene eco-sanctuary,” while Stein Eriksen Residences in Oregon was named Country House Hotel of the Year for “its exceptional vistas and indulgent alpine living.”

The SLH Spirt Award went to the Tokyo Station Hotel,” The Club By SLH Award to Copenhagen’s Nimb Hotel; The Mystery Inspectors’ Excellence Award to Punta Tragara in Capri, Italy; the withIn award to Forestis in Brixen, Italy; the City Hotel of the Year Award to Lanson Place Causeway Bay, Hong Kong; Most Liked Hotel to The Retreat Koh Chang, Trat, Thailand; the Hilton Honors Award to The Terrace Club Wellness Thealasso at Busena, Nago, Japan; and Hotel Hero Award to Germain Duchanaud, the concierge at Grand Hotel du Palais Royal in Paris.

SLH’s portfolio comprises 650 boutique hotels across more than 90 countries.
