Sandra Malette Departs Riu Hotels

Sandra Mallette, whom many of us have known through various events and FAM tours with Sunwing, official seller of Riu hotels, has left her position as BDM for Canada after more than 12 years in this key role. 

Recently, she met the media with the Sunwing team to announce the launch of the new Class Club Elite program. Here is what she told TravelPulse Quebec following her departure, effective this week:

“I never thought this day would come, but it is with great emotion that I announce that I have left my position as Business Development Manager for Canada at RIU and part of this great industry. After more than 12 years with RIU, I decided to take a new opportunity and dive into something else. 

This was not an easy choice. I would like to thank all the people I have met over the years, thank you to the travel agents and especially to your incredible support and your loyalty to me and the RIU hotel chain. Thanks to Sunwing Vacations for this partnership throughout these years. I will have created not only business ties but also friendships. Looking forward to meeting you somewhere on this beautiful planet."
