Sandals Resorts International made headlines this week announcing a nearly US$1 billion Beaches expansion at the launch event of its new global campaign, Made of Caribbean in New York City.
TravelPulse Canada was amongst the distinguished guest list, which included leaders from the travel industry, media, celebrities, dignitaries, influencers, and VIPs from music and fashion.

Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman of Sandals Resorts, hosted the celebration at the Hall des Lumières.
In true Sandals fashion, guests were dazzled with a star-studded celebration, which featured DJ Zuri Marley, granddaughter of reggae legend Bob Marley. VIPs arrived in Sandals-branded cars, greeted by immersive, two-story, 360° projections showcasing the brand’s vibrant new identity, first unveiled at the Golden Globes.
Stewart took to the stage to announce a Beaches expansion, doubling its footprint within the next five years, with an investment of nearly $1 billion bringing new resorts to Barbados, The Bahamas, and Jamaica, along with an all-new village at Beaches Turks and Caicos.

“As a family from the Caribbean, we have a deep love for our islands, and it’s incredibly gratifying to draw inspiration from our guests,” said Stewart.
“We know that now, more than ever, families are prioritizing connection and seeking enriching, multigenerational vacations. We are committed to not only meeting this demand but going above and beyond to wow them with new product offerings and provide unforgettable shared experiences.”
New Property in Barbados
Beaches Resorts is launching its first property in Barbados, next to Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados.
Beaches Barbados will break ground in late 2025, the resort will offer 600 rooms, including oceanfront king suites and large four-bedroom accommodations. “Main Street” will offer restaurants, shopping, an outdoor performance stage and sports bar.

Beaches Exuma in The Bahamas
Beaches Resorts is debuting in The Bahamas, transforming Sandals Emerald Bay into Beaches Exuma.
The revamped resort will occupy 500 acres in the Out Islands and offer multi-bedroom villa suites, 12 restaurants, a Kids Camp, a water park, and a spa, as well as complimentary green fees at the Emerald Bay Golf Course.

Beaches Runaway Bay in Jamaica
Beaches Runaway Bay will open on Jamaica’s North Coast, providing 400 one- to four-bedroom suites and villas for multigenerational travel.
This resort will include wellness areas, skateboarding, bike trails, and a climbable treehouse, along with access to Runaway Bay Golf Club and farm-to-table dining.

Treasure Beach Village in Turks and Caicos
Beaches Turks and Caicos is adding Treasure Beach Village, raising the total room count to 858.
The village will feature 101 suites, including beachfront four-bedroom villas, and the resort's first food hall with international dining options and a Butch’s Island Chophouse.

Growth in Jamaica
Recent enhancements at Beaches Negril include the new Firesky Reserve Villas and Eventide Penthouse Collection, which offer upscale accommodations for families. The villas can host up to 10 guests with private pools, while the penthouses can accommodate up to 16 guests with rooftop terraces.
