Following the successful launch of its first-of-its-kind collaboration with the hit culinary competition series MasterChef Junior, from the globally recognized MasterChef franchise represented by Banijay Rights, the global distribution arm of media and entertainment group, Banijay Entertainment, Dreams Resorts & Spas is introducing MasterChef Junior: Next Course, an exciting evolution of the family-focused culinary program available at select resorts throughout Mexico and the Caribbean.
Designed to inspire the next generation of chefs, MasterChef Junior: Next Course builds upon the immersive activities families have come to love, introducing new menu offerings, interactive culinary activities, and hands-on experiences created to spark creativity, encourage culinary exploration, and create meaningful family memories.
At the heart of the collaboration are the signature MasterChef Junior activations available at select Dreams® Resorts & Spas, including The Mystery Box Challenge where kids can put their creativity to the test, surprise poolside pop-ups, and exclusive menu offerings created by MasterChef Junior Season 9 winner Bryson McGlynn and finalist Remy Powell.
New offerings debuting as part of MasterChef Junior: Next Course include:
- An exclusive limited-edition menu created by Season 9 winner Bryson McGlynn, showcasing elevated comfort-food favorites inspired by his Southern roots
- A collection of globally inspired signature desserts developed by Season 9 finalist Remy Powell, highlighting flavors and techniques from Italian, French, Mexican and Asian cuisines
- Chef-inspired signature mocktails created by the junior chefs, including Bryson’s Berry Breeze and Remy’s Resort Refresher
- A new family cooking class, giving parents and children the opportunity to have fun together and pick up a new skill while preparing Bryson’s Street Corn Dip recipe
- Interactive culinary programming that encourages children to explore new foods, flavors, and cultures
The most memorable family vacations aren’t defined by where you go, they’re defined by the moments you share together,” said Hyatt Inclusive Collection’s Vice President of Global Brands, Ana Tomicevic. "MasterChef Junior: Next Course reimagines what family vacations can be by inviting children to step into the role of chef, discover new flavors, and actively participate in their vacation. Through this experience, we’re transforming food into a catalyst for discovery and lifelong memories."
Unlike traditional family resort programming, MasterChef Junior: Next Course is designed to help children build confidence, explore creativity, and discover new tastes in an engaging, supportive environment. Whether participating in a Mystery Box Challenge, sampling exclusive menu items, or learning a new recipe alongside their parents, young guests are invited to encounter what it feels like to be a chef while on vacation.
As part of the Unlimited-Luxury experience at participating Dreams Resorts & Spas, MasterChef Junior programming is complimentary for guests and seamlessly integrated into the broader family getaway. Families can enjoy reservation-free gourmet dining, premium beverages, dedicated kids and teen clubs, endless activities, live entertainment, and immersive culinary offerings designed to inspire curiosity, connection, and adventure.
MasterChef Junior offerings are currently available at select Dreams Resorts & Spas throughout Mexico and the Caribbean, with additional resorts continuing to roll out the refreshed MasterChef Junior: Next Course program throughout 2026.
