Our group visited the newly renovated Casa de Campo in La Romana. Spanning over 7,000 acres, Casa de Campo was the first resort in the Dominican Republic when it opened nearly 50 years ago. Well known for providing guests with luxury and privacy, it’s located within a gated community and is home to three golf courses, including the “Teeth of the Dog,” ranked the #1 course in the Caribbean.
Guests can choose to stay in a more traditional hotel room or suite, or in one of Casa de Campo’s luxury villas, with options spanning from three to ten bedrooms. Villa guests are also provided with a complimentary golf-cart to traverse the grounds.

“This is an extremely luxurious place that anybody would be thrilled to stay at. Uber luxury.” says travel advisor Sheri Starkes. “You would be spoiled here. Our clients would be spoiled, we would be spoiled. It would be a once in a lifetime experience to be able to stay there and enjoy that luxury.”
Last December, Casa de Campo released a new luxurious experience for its guests in the form of the Premier Club. Casa de Campo now offers 58 premier suites —26 Premier Junior Suites with double beds, 27 Premier Junior Suites with king beds, 4 one-bedroom Premier Suites and 1 Presidential Suite.
Premier suite guests enjoy the same luxury and privacy as guests at Casa de Campo, with an added layer of exclusivity. Premier Club guests check in with a separate, exclusive, reception, and have access to several premium bar and lounge areas. They also have use of an exclusive Premier Room golf cart to get around the expansive property.

Casa de Campo offers a choice of packages for guests including the Casa Inclusive Package -- with full meals and drinks at signature restaurants and bars -- and the Unlimited Golf Package which gives guests free daily rounds at two of Casa de Campo’s golf courses, as well as unlimited horseback riding and time on the tennis court.
In June of this year, the resort opened a brand new spa and wellness centre. With 12 treatment rooms, and over 18,000 sq. ft. of space, the spa includes features such as a sauna, cold water pool, outdoor pool, thermal loungers, and vitality pool.
Casa de Campo offers travel advisors exclusive rates that won’t be given to clients who book online, as well as a percentage of commission.
