The chief sales and marketing officer and a co-founder of host agency Gifted Travel Network (GTN), Vanessa McGovern, will be leaving her role for another opportunity on April 23.
The partner relations team under McGovern will report to CEO Jen Cochrane.
The Mooreseville, N.C.-based host agency was launched in 2013 and reported nearly $170 million in sales in 2023.
GTN was purchased by Trevello World Holdings in January. The Canadian company also owns the host agency, Trevello Travel Group. GTN will continue operating independently under Cochrane’s leadership as a luxury-specific division.
"After an incredible journey as one of GTN's founding leaders, Vanessa is embarking on a new chapter in her career," Cochrane said in a release, which Travel Weekly reported. "Vanessa's passion for developing travel entrepreneurs and elevating industry standards has been instrumental in establishing GTN as a leader in the travel advisor community."
