Last year was a blast, so let’s do it again!

In April 2023, TravelPulse Canada joined 70 advisors and suppliers for the first-ever Air Canada Vacations Seminar at Sea held in the Mediterranean. We travelled aboard Royal Caribbean International’s Symphony of the Seas roundtrip Barcelona, with stops in Palma, Marseilles, La Spezia, Civitavecchia and Naples.
This year we’re privileged to be doing it again, and it’s another first – all of the participating advisors are independents working with the operator’s ACV@Home program. There’s a first for me too, as it will be my inaugural voyage on a Celebrity Cruise ship – and I have the pleasure of travelling aboard the line’s newest vessel, the 3,260-passenger Celebrity Ascent.

Hosted by ACV’s Tina Kensett, Area Sales Manager for Independent Agents. and Celebrity’s long-time Canadian Key Account Manager Brenda Yeomans, the trip will feature curated training sessions and activities designed to give participants a deeper understanding of what makes the Celebrity experience unique.
The itinerary includes what will be bucket-list destinations for many in the group. It begins tomorrow with an overnight flight to Athens, then a day and night in that fabled city before we board the ship on August 3. Then it’s on to Mykonos, Santorini, Turkey’s Kusadasi and Naples, before the cruise winds up in Rome on August 10.
Advisors on the trip will have free WiFi to spread the word on social media, a drink package for thirst-quenching in the Mediterranean heat and an OBC that will allow them to check out Ascent’s specialty dining.

“My favourite thing is sharing our elevated cruise experience with first time cruisers and first to brand,” says Yeomans. “We have quite a few advisors in the same ‘boat.’”
It’s a boat TravelPulse Canada is happy to be on, and we hope you stay tuned for stories, photos, Facebook posts and advisor insights from the trip.
