Cal, senior vice president of product and commercial, will retire on July 31, 2025, after 38 years of service. Côté, director of sales, will step down on June 30, 2025, following a 43-year career in travel, including 23 years with TravelBrands.
“Their extraordinary careers and lasting contributions have left an indelible mark on both TravelBrands and the broader travel landscape,” the company said in a statement.
Cal was recognized for driving product innovation, cultivating strategic partnerships, and leading with “integrity and passion.” Though retiring from his full-time role, he will remain involved as an independent consultant.
Côté, praised as a “steadfast advocate for travel agents,” is celebrated for her calm demeanour, collaborative spirit, and results-driven leadership. Like Cal, she will continue to offer her expertise as an independent consultant.
“I truly believe that the success of any organization is built on the strength of its people, and today we honour two of the greatest I’ve had the privilege of working with throughout my career,” said Nathalie Tanious, president and CEO of H.I.S. Canada Travel Inc., the parent company of TravelBrands.
“Their legacy is woven into every success we’ve achieved.”
