Sea Cloud Cruises has promoted Kevin Smith to president of the Americas.
In the new role, Smith will lead the company’s strategic growth initiatives, commercial operations and market development efforts as it continues to expand its presence in the North American market.
Based in South Florida, Smith joined Sea Cloud Cruises in mid-2023 as vice president of sales, tasked with helping the brand grow in North America.
Since then, the company has earned preferred-supplier status in elite consortia Signature Travel and Virtuoso and has been welcomed by advisors.
Before joining Sea Cloud Cruises, Smith served as vice president of sales for American Queen Voyages and held leadership roles with AmaWaterways and Silversea Cruises.
“Kevin has been instrumental in strengthening Sea Cloud Cruises’ presence in North America, and his leadership, industry expertise and longstanding relationships throughout the travel community have been invaluable to our success,” says Ralph de Klijn, owner’s representative for Sea Cloud Cruises.
