For the first time since March 2020, the world's largest single-brand fleet is officially back in action, with all 26 Royal Caribbean ships now sailing.

To celebrate, the line held its first-ever fleetwide live stream on Facebook and Instagram yesterday. The virtual event spanned 26 ships, 8 countries and 7 time zones, coinciding with Rhapsody of the Sea's departure from Rome as the final ship in the RCI fleet to resume service.

For Rhapsody of the Seas, its comeback cruise that kicks off a lineup of European 7-night sailings to destinations in Italy, Greece, Croatia, France, and Spain.

To date, Royal Caribbean International has hosted more than two million friends and families, cruising to 160 destinations across 2,000 voyages, since the industry restarted.

In a press statement, Royal Caribbean thanked its staff.

"Key to achieving this milestone is our passionate, committed, and friendly crew members -- 55,000+ individuals who've returned to their homes in the Royal Caribbean International fleet.

Looking ahead, Royal Caribbean is readying to welcome Icon of the Seas and Utopia of the Seas, the first two of three ships powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG). Icon and Utopia will make their respective debuts in 2023 and 2024.

The shiny new Wonder of the Seas is now sailing Western Mediterranean itineraries through October 2022, rounding out a summer season in Europe with eight other ships including Odyssey of the Seas. In November 2022, Wonder will return to the U.S. to sail from its new year-round home in Port Canaveral.

Cruising in Alaska is back and so are Ovation, Quantum, Radiance and Enchantment of the Seas, offering travellers a variety of ways to experience the Last Frontier.

"This is an exciting time for Royal Caribbean with our full fleet and private destinations back in service, new ships on the horizon and more adventures to come for our guests," RCI says.
