Regent Seven Seas Cruises has revealed plans to reimagine select accommodations aboard its Explorer Class ships.

The ultra-luxury cruise line plans to introduce larger suites as well as debut a new suite category and reduced capacity to offer more space and luxury for future guests.

Following planned dry docks in 2027 and 2028, Seven Seas Explorer, Seven Seas Splendor and Seven Seas Grandeur will each set sail with a new maximum of only 344 suites, down 29 rooms from the current 373 suites.

Regent will expand Veranda Suites into the industry's largest entry-level suites—expanding from 307 square feet to between 415 and 464 square feet—alongside the Deluxe Veranda Suites aboard Regent's Prestige Class ships.

Highlights inside of the redesigned Veranda Suites will include walk-in closets, double vanities and spacious balconies.

What's more, new Horizon Penthouse Suites—which will debut aboard Seven Seas Prestige—will be added to the Explorer Class collection of suites. Ranging from 616 to 722 square feet, the suites feature oversized balconies, a bedroom, full bath suite and spacious living area.

Finally, three additional Distinctive Suites—respectively named Explorer Suite, Splendor Suite and Grandeur Suite on each ship—measuring from 821 to 918 square feet, will be added to each ship. These will offer a spacious bedroom with a king-size Elite Slumber Bed, a sitting and dining area, one-and-a-half marble-and-stone-appointed bathrooms, and a large private balcony.

Guests will also enjoy luxe amenities such as fresh orchid arrangements, cashmere blankets, in-suite caviar service, a selection of pillow styles and personal butler service.

Accommodation upgrades will begin with Seven Seas Splendor in November 2027. Seven Seas Explorer will enter dry dock in April 2028, and Seven Seas Grandeur will follow in October 2028.

"Since 1992, Regent Seven Seas Cruises has undertaken a relentless pursuit of perfection. We changed the game with the launch of our Explorer Class ships in 2016, 2020 and 2023, and we are excited to now take these beloved ships to new heights," Regent Seven Seas Cruises President Wesley D'Silva said in a statement.

"These enhancements reflect our commitment to continually raising the standard in ultra-luxury travel," added D'Silva. "By reducing suite inventory, expanding accommodations and introducing new suite categories, we are creating an even more spacious experience at sea while strengthening the exceptional service that defines Regent."
