Citing its “broader global fleet deployment strategy,” Princess Cruises has canceled five months of cruises that were slated to set sail from Galveston starting next year.
The company cancelled all scheduled trips on Majestic Princess that were scheduled to depart from Galveston between November 2026 and March 2027, reports the Houston Chronicle.
The company is offering full refunds to affected customers or suggesting alternative cruises.
Regal Princess, meanwhile, will continue to sail all scheduled cruises through and including March 15, 2026, reports USA Today.
“We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause our guests and appreciate their understanding as we work to enhance our global cruise offerings,” according to a statement from the company.
