Holland America Line’s two new 2028 Grand Voyages are available to book this week, offering travelers the opportunity to explore Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific on a 90-day journey, or circumnavigate the globe on a longer 129-day itinerary.
The 2028 Grand Voyages sail on the Volendam and Zaandam. Those who book the Grand World Voyage by June 14, 2027 are eligible to receive up to $10,700 off in early booking discounts per stateroom. They’ll also receive up to $2,500 in onboard credit, a $500 air credit per person, complimentary WiFi and more. Travelers booking the Australia and New Zealand voyage can save up to $8,500.
The 2028 Grand World Voyage, circumnavigating the globe, departs from Fort Lauderdale, Florida on January 4 on the Volendam. It’ll sail from the Caribbean down the eastern coastline of South America towards Antarctica before heading through the South Pacific, French Polynesia and New Zealand.
Following that, it’ll make stops in Australia, Indonesia, Singapore and Sri Lanka before sailing to West Africa. It’ll cross the Atlantic before ending back in Fort Lauderdale, having visited 45 different ports across 26 countries.
The 2028 Grand Australia & New Zealand Voyage departs January 30 from San Diego, California on the Zaandam. The 90-day journey sails to Hawai’i and the South Pacific, sailing for New Zealand before visiting northwestern and western Australia, before spending time in ports across French Polynesia, before ending once more in San Diego. The voyage visits 41 ports across 12 countries and territories, with several overnight calls.
