Carnival Liberty is back on the water after renovations.
The Carnival Cruise Line ship returned to New Orleans after dry dock, joining newly refurbished sister ship Carnival Valor. The first guests to experience Carnival Liberty’s new features set sail Sunday on a week-long Caribbean cruise.
Like many other Carnival ships, Carnival Liberty now has a Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, a special space honoring military service members and their families. Other upgrades include a WaterWorks aqua park with new slides, as well as a new mini golf course. The ship’s spa, now branded as a Cloud9 Spa, underwent a total transformation including refreshed décor, upgraded beauty stations, a modernized fitness center, a new Elamis Boutique and new steam rooms and saunas.
The casino has also been enhanced with a new layout and additional slot machines and table games.Younger cruisers can now enjoy new gaming stations at Camp Ocean and a revamped Arcade and Club O2.
The ship also has a Dream Studio for personalized photo sessions and a new High Spirits liquor store, as well as a Carnival Adventures venue for exploring and booking shore excursions. The retail FUN Shops have been revamped with new displays.
The renovations also included accessibility upgrades, such as enhanced pathways and improved amenities in public spaces and cabins.
