Solo adventurers looking to explore the ends of the Earth now have a new incentive to book with Aurora Expeditions. The Australia-based expedition cruise company is waiving the dreaded single supplement across all its 2025/26 Antarctica sailings and all Arctic and Global Discovery voyages through September 2026.

Typically, solo travelers pay extra to have a cabin to themselves—a fee known as the “single supplement.” By eliminating this charge across the board, Aurora is making its trips more accessible for those flying solo.

This move marks Aurora’s most inclusive offer for solo travelers to date, opening up its immersive small-ship experiences to more independent travelers than ever before, without the added cost. Once limited to select sailings, the broadened offer now gives solo travelers more freedom than ever to check off dream destinations across the globe.

Carrying no more than 130 guests per journey and offering a laid-back, sociable atmosphere, each expedition encourages meaningful connections with fellow travelers, knowledgeable guides and some of the world’s most breathtaking natural surroundings.

“Solo travelers are often among our most engaged and curious passengers,” said Michael Heath, CEO at Aurora Expeditions. “Our expeditions naturally foster connection: to nature, to other people, and to one’s own sense of wonder and purpose. With the expansion of our No Solo Supplement offer across all Antarctica voyages in 2025/26, and all Arctic and Global Discovery voyages until September 2026, we’re making it easier than ever for them to join us on an unforgettable journey.”

Aurora’s ships are purposefully built to accommodate solo travelers, featuring adaptable cabin layouts and a range of all-inclusive activities like Zodiac outings, guided treks and Citizen Science initiatives. Whether you're fulfilling a lifelong dream, looking for quiet time to reflect or yearning for a more meaningful getaway, these voyages offer the perfect blend of independence and support to help you experience something truly remarkable.

The No Solo Supplement offer is valid through September 30, 2025, and applies to all 2025/26 Antarctica voyages and all Arctic and Global Discovery departures through September 2026. For solo travelers dreaming of their next great adventure, this may be the perfect time to plan that once-in-a-lifetime trip—without the single-traveler surcharge.
