Toronto Set to Become Leading North American Market for LOT

July, August and September, or Q3, is a busy time for transatlantic airlines. Summer vacation on both sides of the ocean is prime time for travel and that means increased lift at many destinations, Toronto Pearson (YYZ) included. 

Aviation site Simply Flying is reporting the top 10 airlines flying European routes from Pearson, by number of flights. The top two are Air Canada and Air Transat, which may be expected, but the third may come as a surprise: Lot Polish Air.

With 197 flights taking off from Toronto in Q3, there is a flight between Canada’s busiest airport and Warsaw up to three times a day. 

This schedule makes Toronto LOT’s top market from Warsaw, followed by New York JFK and Chicago O’Hare.
