Porter Adds Ottawa–Kelowna

Porter Airlines announced the launch of new non-stop service between Ottawa International Airport and Kelowna International Airport.

The new route launched with five weekly roundtrip flights increasing to six weekly flights in June. Porter says it is the only airline currently offering non-stop service between Ottawa and Kelowna.

The route adds to Porter’s growing Western Canada network from Ottawa, which already includes Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria and Winnipeg.

Kelowna becomes the second destination in the Okanagan served by Porter, alongside existing flights from Toronto Pearson.

Flights operate on Porter’s 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, which features a two-by-two seating configuration with no middle seats.

“Expanding our presence in Kelowna strengthens our Western Canada network and reinforces our commitment to connecting travellers across the country,” said Andrew Pierce, vice president, network planning and reporting, Porter Airlines.

“By enhancing connectivity between the west and the east, we’re opening up more convenient, reliable options for Canadians to travel where they want to go.”

The airline said the new route is expected to support tourism and business travel between the two regions, while also improving access from Kelowna to Eastern Canadian cities such as Halifax and St. John’s through Ottawa connections.


Flights are now available through Porter.
