A male passenger tried, unsuccessfully, to entice female flights attendant into a tryst aboard a Spirit Airlines flight. The man was also accused of grabbing a flight attendant and asking her some disturbing questions.
The incidents took place this week on a flight from Louisville to Orlando.
The man, James Finnister, was arrested after a criminal complaint was filed. He allegedly asked the lead flight attendant to join the provocative club and later pulled a second flight attendant into his seat and also asked her some disturbing questions.
He apparently also asked some questions but they were not of a sexual nature. They were about entering the cockpit area, and it raised the suspicions of the flight attendants.
Finnister was met by police in Orlando and admitted to his wrongdoings. But he also said he took several shots of alcohol because this was his first time on an airplane.
He was charged with a federal crime for interfering with a flight crew member. He was freed on his own recognizance with the assurance that he will show up for future court dates.
