Condor Airlines’ newest aircraft, the A330neo has touched down in Toronto from Frankfurt, introducing the Airbus to the Canadian market.

The aircraft marks an exciting achievement for Condor Airlines, with 30 Business Class seats and 64 in Premium Economy, the A330neo provides 94 premium seats. The entirety of Condor’s long-haul fleet that travels across the Atlantic will be replaced with the A33neo by 2024.

The A33neo provides incomparable in-flight passenger comfort. With 310 seats overall, each passenger will benefit from increased personal space, larger overhead bin size, in-flight entertainment including 250 movies, and Bluetooth connectivity. Condor partners luxury with highly competitive pricing, with Economy seats starting at $360 CAD, Economy Premium seats starting at $650 CAD, and Business Class seats starting at $1300 CAD.

“Overall, when you look at the Neo product, you look at our price points, Condor has by far the best price to product value proposition that is in the market when you want to fly into Europe” said Mikko Turtiainen, Director of Sales, The Americas.

The A33neo is a game-changer not only for Condor and transatlantic flights, but for the Canadian market.

This year marks an increase for Condor Airlines in Canada. After the inaugural flight of Frankfurt-Edmonton in May 2023, Condor Airlines now has 5 gateways in Canada: Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, Whitehorse and Halifax.

For the summer season, the A33neo will be traveling the Toronto-Frankfurt route four times a week, with aspirations to make daily trips.

“I definitely want to see the capacity and the frequency go up in Toronto. I don’t think we’ve gotten to that level where we need to be” said Turtiainen.

Condor Airlines will be providing non-stop trips for the Toronto-Frankfurt route throughout the year, including the winter season. By the summer of 2024, Condor Airlines is aiming for almost daily trips from Toronto into Frankfurt, all on the A33neo.

For connections to other parts of Canada, Condor has partnered with WestJet, also located in Pearson International’s Terminal 3.

For European destinations aside from Frankfurt, Condor Airlines offers connectivity with several partner airlines including Lufthansa, Air Belgium, Bulgaria Air, FlyAir 41 and more. Purchasing for connectivity is made easier through Condor Airlines’ Canadian travel agency partners.

“You’re able to buy Toronto-Frankfurt, into Prague, or into Rome, or into Venice, or into Paris. Pretty much anywhere our partner airlines fly” said Turtiainen.

Condor Airlines has a secure login for travel agents —Condor Agent Extranet— that can be found here. The Extranet includes information about Condor products, travel industry and Condor news, and tools for the conduction of daily business.
